Lily Ann Swackhamer

Lily Ann Swackhamer arrived kicking and screaming on Thursday September 21st at 8:05p.m. Lily was very comfy inside of mom and held on for a long time. Lily held on for a total of 3 1/2 hours once mom decided to push her out. Boy was she tired! Here is a picture of Christy and the room before the birth with her parents.

As we attempt to get ready for Lily, I decided to take it upon myself to become handy and put together her new swing. I was going along swimmingly, until Greg noticed a small problem. Can you find what it is?

Three Days and Counting!

As we get closer and closer to my due date, and as my belly gets larger and larger, we are reminded of how excited and yet cautious we are for Lily's grand entrance. It is odd to be off work with no expectation of going back until after Christmas. Just like my brother, I too have stopped looking at things as a matter of 'x' weeks to go. We now look at possibly the next time we have Wednesday night Bible study we'll have her here. Or the next time we get milk delivered she might possibly be here. The next Ohio State football game that Greg says he can't miss, she might be here. The list goes on and on as to how our thinking is changing. But with hope and lots of prayer she soon will be joining us. We can't wait!
